This week marked a significant moment for Lowestoft as we proudly launched our new Investment Prospectus at UKREiiF (UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum), one of the UK’s leading events for regeneration, investment and development.
The launch provided a powerful platform to present Lowestoft’s ambitious vision to a national audience, bringing together developers, investors, partners and decision-makers from across the country. Over the past few days, our team has taken part in a series of meaningful, high-quality conversations, all centred on the opportunities that exist here in our town.
A Strong Reception
The response to Lowestoft’s presence at UKREiiF has been overwhelmingly positive. Our new Investment Prospectus has successfully captured attention, clearly setting out the scale of opportunity across key sectors including offshore energy, tourism, regeneration, housing and innovation.
Importantly, it has enabled conversations that go beyond initial introductions, discussions rooted in genuine interest, commercial viability and long-term partnership potential. From established developers to emerging investors, there has been a shared recognition that Lowestoft offers something unique: a combination of strategic location, sectoral strength and a clear ambition for sustainable growth.
A Clear Opportunity
There is a real opportunity ahead for Lowestoft. With major regeneration projects already underway, a growing reputation as a centre for offshore and renewable energy, and a strong pipeline of development sites, the town is well-positioned to attract further investment.
UKREiiF has reinforced that message. It has demonstrated that Lowestoft is not just open for investment, but ready. Ready with a compelling story, ready with deliverable opportunities, and ready to work collaboratively with partners to unlock its full potential.
Building on Momentum
While the event itself has been a key milestone, it is by no means the end of the journey. Instead, it marks the beginning of the next phase.
The focus now shifts to building on this momentum—continuing those conversations, strengthening relationships, and turning interest into tangible outcomes. This means maintaining visibility, sharing our story widely, and ensuring that Lowestoft remains front-of-mind for those looking to invest in places with ambition and opportunity.
Continuing to Tell the Lowestoft Story
At the heart of everything is the Lowestoft story - a story of transformation, resilience and opportunity. From its rich maritime heritage to its growing role at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy future, Lowestoft has a narrative that resonates.
Through Think Lowestoft, we will continue to champion that story. We will highlight our opportunities, celebrate our successes, and showcase the people, projects and partnerships that are shaping the town’s future.
We are also thrilled to now be able to share our new Investment Prospectus publicly. You can explore the full document and discover the opportunities Lowestoft has to offer here:

Since March 2022, the Get Suffolk Reading programme has been actively working in Lowestoft with a passionate focus on improving literacy. By supporting children’s wellbeing and aspirations, and encouraging greater parental engagement, the programme aims to make reading for pleasure a part of everyday life in the community.
Get Suffolk Reading is community-driven, collaborating with local people and organisations to inspire a lasting love of reading. Over the past months, the team has delivered creative and fun projects that have engaged children and families across the town. To stay updated on their work, please follow them on Facebook. Their achievements so far have been made possible thanks to the generous support of local charities, businesses, creatives, and residents.
Leading this effort is project manager Sally Connick, who is eager to connect with more passionate Lowestoft locals.
